HSEQ Cadet

Joss Group is a privately owned company based in Albury NSW and is considered one of regional Australia’s premier building and facility maintenance contractors with a reputation built on the successful delivery of complex and challenging projects throughout regional NSW and Victoria.

We are seeking to appoint someone who is passionate about workplace safety, environmental management and quality to the full-time position of HSEQ Cadet based in our Albury Head Office.

To be considered for this role, applicants must be motivated, have the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, have good written and communication skills and be either currently studying or are prepared to undertake study in a course related to workplace health and safety.

Working within the HSEQ team you will providing support to all departments across our group, the main responsibilities within this role will be to:

The role is full time however the successful applicant will be given 1 day per week to dedicate to their studies.

Remuneration package by negotiation based on above criteria.

HSEQ (Systems) Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced HSEQ Manager to join the family owned Joss Group, in our Head office, based in Albury NSW.

Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining current certifications and the continued implementation and improvement of the Company Quality, WHS and Environmental Systems. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading divisional HSEQ personnel, monitoring and improving procedures, identifying WHS and Environmental hazards, acquiring and distributing WHS, Environmental and Quality related information, compiling and presenting reports to senior management and liaising with external parties on systems related matters. 

To be a success in this role your experience will be gained from within other top or mid-tier contractors in the construction industry. Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified in a related discipline, hold a relevant Lead Auditing Qualification and be an expert in accredited safety systems and incident investigation. Qualifications and experience in the preparation and delivery of training is also desirable.
