Dubbo School of Distance Education NSW – Design and Construct Multi-Purpose building
The Design and Construct project for the multi-purpose building included demolishing a large amount of existing concrete and landscaping. The building structure comprised of a concrete slab, steel wall frames and trusses. The building envelope was designed with the existing school aesthetics and Dubbo’s landscape in mind, with external cladding that comprises a variety of brick veneer, Colourbond sheeting and feature screen finishes. Internally, the building resolves unique requirements for distance education, including audio and video recording spaces, collaborative learning areas, toilet amenities, storage areas and an outdoor learning space.
