Civil Construction Site Manager

Joss Construction is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Site Manager to join our family owned Company.  

Based in the beautiful Illawarra area, with the opportunity to work on regional projects, this full-time position will be responsible for the day to day site management and safety supervision and will report directly to the Manager of Civil Infrastructure. 

With experience in problem-solving skills and leading a small site-based team of subcontractors, the successful applicant will assist in the organisation and supervision of construction procedures to ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.  The goal will be to ensure that the project is delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven delivery of earthworks, roads, pavement, and civil infrastructure related structures
• Strong communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• A clear understanding of WHS obligations within the construction industry
• Experience in working with utilities authorities and local councils.
