Morgan Street Commercial Development

The Commercial Development at Morgan Street involved construction of a new four storey office and retail complex including 140 space car park, retaining walls and landscaping. The scope of works consisted of demolition of a collection of existing industrial buildings and relocation of existing sewer main.

The project was staged with a view of facilitating the client’s request to construct the external works as late as possible in the program. The details of the windows and external aluminium cladding required incredibly tight construction tolerances to be maintained. Both windows and cladding carried long lead times and were manufactured to pre-determined sizes from different companies. Internally, the quality of new suspended grid system ceilings, wet area tiling and office fit-out are befitting of the clients’ desire to create a first class office environment.

This project was the recipient of the Master Builders Regional Building NSW 2016 Excellence Award for Best Commercial Project over $10M.
