Joss appointed to deliver Wodonga’s new Heavy Vehicle Training Facility

Joss Construction has been appointed main works contractor for Wodonga TAFE’s new Heavy Vehicle Training Facility at the Logic Innovation Precinct, part of a $24 million Australian Government investment.

This includes $22 million for a Heavy Vehicle Technology Program and $2 million for Phase 1 of an Advanced Manufacturing Centre of Excellence. The project will deliver a heavy vehicle technology workshop, a 4WD obstacle course, a main building and car parking. The precinct will support hands-on training in driver operations, technology, and maintenance, and will introduce advanced manufacturing capabilities including 3D printing, robotics and automation.

The Logic Innovation Precinct is expected to attract up to 1,200 students in its first four years, expanding Wodonga TAFE’s training pipeline for transport, logistics and manufacturing. It will also support the Australian Defence Force, emergency services, and education partners.“Joss is thrilled to be a trusted partner for these significant local projects, ensuring local trades and suppliers are engaged throughout construction,”
said Ed Whiting, Joss Group CEO.
“This facility will deliver a lasting economic benefit and a legacy the region can be proud of.”
