Mann Central Shopping Centre
Design and Construction of the Mann Central Shopping Centre project comprised 4 stages. Demolition of existing buildings, upgrading authority assets, early civil works package then the main portion of works being the buildings and fit outs. The 17,000 m2 site sits in the heart of the regional city of Wodonga and comprises 10,000 m2 of suspended carpark deck, Coles Supermarket, Kmart, Kmart Auto and Liquorland with an additional 9 retail tenancy shops and landscaping. Detailed planning during the design period ensured challenging areas of work were de-risked from a safety and programming perspective. As the structure developed the large roof areas required specialist cranes positioned on surrounding roads, which required planning and local council approvals.
