About the Opportunity

Joss Facility Management is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and a proven ability to deliver construction projects efficiently and to a high standard.

You will oversee daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

As a Site Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise day-to-day construction site activities and coordinate subcontractors and trades.
  • Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.
  • Monitor project timelines and assist in maintaining construction programs.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with WHS requirements and company procedures.
  • Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers, and contractors to maintain effective communication across projects.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and site challenges proactively.
  • Assist with project reporting, variations, and scheduling requirements.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including safety documentation and progress updates.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, site coordination, and WHS compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project (or similar project management software).
  • A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility for occasional travel and short-term stays away from home.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
